Mee Udang at Pulau Aman

Pulau Aman overview...
Situated on an island covering an area of 288 acres, it is 25 nautical miles from the mainland just off the coast of Seberang Perai’s southern district. The nearest town is Bukit Tambun. It is only a 30-minute boat ride from Bukit Tambun, or if you prefer, you may board the boat from the Batu Maung or Batu Uban jetties for a 45-minute ride to Pulau Aman.

Here are some photos to share with you...

Spent our 4 hours to have lunch, Mee Udang in Pulau Aman.

In order to put your step in the island, you need to ride a boat in Batu Kawan’s Jetty. The fee costs about RM 6 for adult return ticket and it took about 20 minutes of journey. (It's quite expensive)... 1:30pm

Taken in the boat with my cutie.

My sis-in-law and her daughter, Xiang Yinn with her daddy :)

So surprise that there is a school in this tiny island...

Heading to the floating restaurant...

It's about 5 minutes walk from jetty to the floating restaurant.

A kid without pants...

I love this Malay kampung so much...

This island is not dirty at all...

Here we are...

Mantis prawn... Some are RM70/kg, some are RM35/kg, it is depends on the size of the mantis prawn.

It's so dangerous that they keep all the gas along the bridge...

Welcome to Pulau Aman Floating Restaurant.

Fried rice with 4 big prawn, RM6.
We forgot to take the main course photos... (source from crizfood.com)

Fried noodles with 4 bis prawn, RM6.

Noodle soup with 4 big prawn, RM6.

This is very cheap! RM13 (crab RM10 + restaurant charge RM3 to cook)
You can buy crab and mantis prawn from outside of the restaurant, and ask the restaurant to cook with extra charge of RM3.

We got this with a very very cheap price... We bought 17 mantis prawn with only RM1.50/each.

Pulau Aman's mantis prawn is so...so...so...so... yummy! 2 Thumbs up! :D

It's so big with only RM1.50.

This is the kitchen...
(这个makcik的态度蛮差的,但是当她知道我们是blogger想在她的厨房拍照时,她的表情却180度转变。)

The floating restaurant.

The floating restaurant at the back...

While waiting for the boat to go back to Bukit Tambum's jetty.

This is the floating restaurant... view from Pulau Aman's jetty.

This is the boat that we ride.

It's so crowded during weekend...

Ha... met my friend, Winnie in the jetty (what a small world)!

Taken in Bukit Tambum's jetty...

Beautiful clouds found in the island... like a rooster!

There is already a big sign "TIDAK DIBENARKAN MASUK - LETUPAN", but still can see a bunch of people with no safety awareness park their cars in the compound...
